You can get to know the beauty of Lapland`s nature by foot in summer as well as in wintertime.The Pallastunturi Nature Reserve is only 20 km away and reminds us of the Scottish Highlands, whereas the Lake District surrounding the Winterdream houses elicits associations with the wilds of Canada.

All trails are signposted well and excellent maps are available. You can literally hike for hours and just enjoy the beauty and silence ofthis wonderful country without being disturbed,something which has become nearly impossible in our latitude.
